Acta Palaeontologica Polonica 08 (4), 1963: 451-460
Schizothrichites ordoviciensis n. gen., n. sp., a Tremadocian blue-green alga, with exceptionally well preserved microscopical structure is described. It was etched from the chalcedony of the Holy Cross Mountains. Its close similarity to recent genus Schizothrix (Cyanophyceae) is shown.
