Of several remains of elasmobranch fishes, found in the Lower Tortonian Leitha-limestones at Pinczów, 6 forms are briefly described, so far either unknown from th e territory of Poland, or insufficiently known. An attention is paid to the occurrence of the two species, characteristic of tropical seas: Hemipristis serra Ag. and Aetobatis arcuatus Ag.
