The trilobite subfamily Homalonotinae from the Upper Silurian and Lower Devonian of Poland

Twelve species of trilobites, including six new ones (Dipleura praecox sp. n., Trimerus lobatus sp. n., T. novus sp. n., Digonus bostoviensis sp. n., D. elegans sp. n., and Parahomalonotus angusticostatus sp. n.), assigned to five genera of the subfamily Homalonotinae from the Upper Ludlovian, Upper Gedinnian and Lower Siegenian of Poland are described below. Taxonomic criteria of this subfamily are discussed, along with its outline phylogeny.
